It just doesn't get much better...

It's not even my Birthday yet and my best friend in the world has really pulled out all the stops already. First, I get a wonderful new laptop that I have been using daily. Then, we go away to see the Red Sox play in Fenway and I get birthday wishes on the big board. And tonight, thought I was going to the casino in the American falls, but instead we went over to the Canadian side because I got surprise tickets to see Cyndi Lauper and Rosie O'Donnell. Finally, Rosie herself wishes me a happy 40th birthday during her stand up! I am very lucky to have such a wonderful person in my life!

Boston Terrier "Swinging" (The Adventures Of Rex #7)

Too Old?

So, turning 40 in a week and have been struggling with it for a number of reasons. I can't seem to rectify the number of years that have gone by so quickly. My child is now a man, and I haven't done nearly enough things in my 40 years.

Today I am deciding to live the "second" half of my life a little differently. There will be no second guessing, no fear of failure, and I am going to finally start "living out loud!"

But, being the slightly OCD personality that I am, a list and plan is a must. Now, I just need to get that procrastination under control and leave the computer alone once in a while so I can experience life more!

My list and plan will be forthcoming....any suggestions are welcome.

Beautiful Day...

It's a beautiful day here in NY...the type of day that makes you feel you can do anything.
Hi All~

Brand new today to this blogging thing, but felt I needed to do something new in my life. I am about to turn the big 4-0(don't you hate when people say that "the big 4-0??) and I really felt like something creative and different had been missing from my life, or was here and left at some point. You will all notice that one of my biggest flaws in writing is the propensity to have run on sentences, but if that's the worst I do then I think I'll be ok.
